Remembering the Life and Legacy of Margaret Thatcher

Prime Minister Thatcher (1925-2013) was a star, not only in her country, but in the United States as well. She will be remembered as a hero for contributing to the fall of communism with President Reagan, and for her domestic accomplishments to privatize Britain and curb socialism.

She has definitely inspired me, and I am reminded of the verse from Proverbs that says, "Iron sharpens iron." She did what no other politician has done. Ladies, she was a true feminist.

Here is my favorite speech from PM Thatcher on Socialism:

Sarah Palin, an American politician greatly inspired by the Iron Lady, captured it well on Facebook:

We’re deeply saddened at the loss of Margaret Thatcher. While the Iron Lady is sadly gone, her iron will, her unfailing trust in what is right and just, and her lessons to all of us will live on forever. She was a trailblazer like no other. We lost an icon, but her legacy, as solid as iron, will live on in perpetuity.
- Sarah Palin
You will be greatly missed, Mrs. Thatcher, but we will do all we can to make sure your legacy lives on.
