Tea Party Calls for "Momma Grizzly" to Rise Up

As the debate on gun control continues and with Obama's recent unveiling of his 23 Executive Orders, it is hard to point to anyone on the Republicans' side with a clear, strong voice in defense of the Second Amendment. The Bill of Rights is not up for debate or public opinion, these rights are God-given, inalienable rights. It's time for someone with credibility and experience to stand up and speak out.

The Tea Party is calling the "Momma Grizzly" from Alaska to join the fight. They sent the following message to Sarah Palin via Facebook on Thursday, January 17, 2013:

Dear Sarah:
We’ve missed you. We know you spend a lot of time with your family now and are on Fox News a lot, but we think it is time for “Momma Grizzly” to make an appearance again. Who better than you who grew up with all kinds of firearms to get involved again and lead a movement to protect the 2nd Amendment. Since many republicans in Congress are too weak-kneed to stand up to a tyrannical Constitution breaking President, maybe it’s high time for you to come to Washington and take down some of these corrupt gun grabbing politicians just like you did in Alaska by showing them why Americans have an ABSOLUTE 2nd Amendment right to bear arms and it “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” upon as the US Constitution states. It will drive the left absolutely CRAZY for you to get involved and stand up to Obama and his executive orders. Give us a shout and let us know you are in! 

Sarah Palin is a key proponent in the gun control debate as she grew up in Alaska, a state where it is necessary for people to carry guns for safety. Anyone still blaming Palin for using "crosshairs" on a political map in 2010 and linking it to the Gabby Giffords shooting needs to realize that this was not the first time "crosshairs" were used in politics and should be dismissed because there was never any connection made. This is especially not a time to use crisis for political gain or advance an agenda that does not have every American in the best interest.

It's time for the Tea Party Americans to mobilize and rise up again - if we want our kids and their kids to experience the same freedoms we have, we need to protect the charters of liberty, especially those within the Bill of Rights.
